About Us
We make pieces you actually want to wear all day — and keep forever.
Dryrose started with a feeling. Not a business plan, not a gap in the market - just a deep, stubborn love for Indian wear and the craft that goes into it.
We grew up watching sarees and occasion wear be worn for a few hours and carefully folded away. Beautiful, yes - but always a little uncomfortable, always a little too much. We wanted to change that. Not by making these pieces less special, but by making them lighter. More wearable. The kind you actually want to stay in.
"I wore one of our sarees from 9:30 in the morning to midnight , running the kitchen, up and down the stairs, hosting the whole day , and not once did I want to take it off."
That's the standard we hold ourselves to. Pure fabrics, premium craft, feather-light wear. Pieces that drape like a dream and feel like nothing, because the younger generation deserves to wear pieces not just for two hours at a wedding, but for the whole day, every occasion, without thinking twice.
And then there's the craft. The hand-painting. The hand embroidery. The fact that one embroidered saree takes three full days for a single artisan to complete. Three days of someone's hands, their patience, their skill - all so you can walk into a room wearing something that is genuinely, quietly extraordinary.
That's what fascinates us. That we get to wear art. And that's what Dryrose is built around, preserving that beauty, making it wearable, and getting it to women who truly appreciate it.
The name comes from something simple. A dried rose - the kind you press between pages, not by accident, but on purpose. Because it meant something. That's what we want every Dryrose piece to be. Something you keep. Something that stays beautiful long after the moment it was worn.
Right now we're at the beginning. Four sarees. One collection. A whole lot of heart. More is coming — including everything we've been dreaming about since day one. But for now, we're just glad you're here.
